How can I reduce GIF file size?
There are several ways to reduce GIF file size: trim to a shorter clip using the timeline slider, lower the frame rate from 24 FPS to 10 FPS, choose a smaller output width (320px instead of 720px), or use Sierra dithering which produces cleaner color transitions. Combining shorter clips with lower FPS and smaller width gives the most significant size reduction.
What is the maximum video file size?
The tool supports video files up to 100 MB. Since all processing happens in your browser, very large files may require more memory. For videos larger than 100 MB, consider using our Video Compressor tool first to reduce the file size before converting to GIF.
