How to resize an image for social media
- Add an image. Drop or browse for a JPG, PNG or WebP file.
- Pick a size. Choose a platform preset or type custom width and height in pixels.
- Choose a fit mode. Cover fills the frame and crops the edges, Contain fits the whole image and adds a background colour, Stretch forces the size and can distort.
- Adjust the crop. Drag the preview to reposition, or use free crop or circle crop.
- Download. Pick JPEG, PNG or WebP and a quality level, then save the resized image.

Compress to a target file size
The compressor tries quality levels until the file is close to the size you ask for, then shows the before and after with a comparison slider. JPEG gives the smallest photos, WebP is usually smaller at the same quality, and PNG keeps every pixel but is larger.
