Frequently asked questions

Does it support overnight shifts?
Yes — toggle the “Overnight shift” checkbox and the calculator adds 24 hours to the end time so it crosses midnight correctly.
How is overtime computed here?
Anything beyond 8 paid hours is flagged as overtime. Use the Overtime Calculator for the exact pay.
Are breaks paid?
In most countries lunch breaks (30+ min) are unpaid and short tea breaks (5–10 min) are paid. The calculator deducts the break minutes you enter.
Can I save multiple shifts?
Yes — your last entry is auto-saved in your browser. Use the Timesheet Generator for a full weekly view.
